LSU is getting some major love in ESPN's latest College Football Playoff picks following the Tigers 45-38 win at Texas last Saturday.

Eight out fourteen writers picked LSU to make the playoff, with two of them predicting the Tigers will be a No. 1 seed.

Hold on there sportswriters we are only 2 games into this; yes Texas win was huge but lets take a more serious look at this after the FL and Auburn games. We've got to block out the noise (now very positive) and take care of business

Some of these picks don't make much sense to me. If you have Alabama as #2, it must be bc you think they're going to lose to LSU or Georgia, right? Which means either of those two teams would have to be included in the top 4.

Mark Schlabach picked Texas to beat LSU. And, still doesn't think they are playoff worthy. Looks like Mark has an axe to grind.

theres a clear top 6 right now and they only chose those 6: 1-6. Clemson, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Georgia 7-130. Everyone else
