LSU running back Derrius Guice has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. Syracuse. Head coach Ed Orgeron announced the news during his weekly radio show on Wednesday.

Original Post:
LSU running back Derrius Guice missed the third consecutive day of practice Wednesday as he is still dealing with a knee injury he suffered vs. Mississippi State.

Head coach Ed Orgeron said earlier in the day that Guice is "very questionable" for Saturday's game vs. Syracuse.

I think this could linger on through the season. Williams and Brosette need to be ready. As well as Edwards-Helaire. I wish Derrius a full and speedy recovery.

Man, I hate to see this staring up all over again this year. Running backs need statistics in prep for a pro career and missing a good chunk of a year is a big disadvantage.
