According to multiple sources, UCLA head coach Chip Kelly is reportedly leaving the Bruins to be the new offensive coordinator at Ohio State.
Kelly has been the Bruins' head coach since 2018, compiling a 35–34 record over six seasons. He will replace Bill O'Brien who held the Buckeyes OC & QB coach job for less than a month before landing the Boston College head coaching job this week.
Kelly's departure means that UCLA will have a new head coach when they play LSU on September 21 in Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers last played the Bruins in 2021 at the Rose Bowl, with UCLA upsetting No. 16 LSU 38-27.
