I love the fact that QB TJ Finley had a great game his first time out. And a lot of folks in the football world is calling for Finley to replace QB Myles Brennan as starter. Those who call for the replacement really forgot the great year Brennan was having, first LSU QB in history in yards, TDs and completions through their first three games. And they also forgot that Coach O respects and love the loyalty Brennan showed when 99% of the QBs would've jumped ship when QB Joe Burrow came aboard remember he was the only one who stayed and he stayed for two years. The only way Brennan loses his job is on the field and like Coach O said, after TJ's performance he have all the confidence in TJ and won't hesitate putting him in if Brennan falters. And now let's see if Finley or QB Max Johnson shows the same kind of loyalty if Brennan comes back balling like expected. This is the best WB room LSU has ever had and with the verbal commentments we have the future is truly brite.

TJ deserved it and everybody knows it. Can you imagine the controversy Ed would have on his hands if TJ was awarded something like player of the week?

TJ should have been freshman offensive player of the week. Who did better?
