While driving in Breaux Bridge, LA around 10pm on July 30th, LSU junior wide receiver Travin Dural and his cousin Randall Menard passed an upside down SUV that had crashed into a ditch. Inside the car was a woman driver who could not free herself from the vehicle.

Dural and his cousin stopped and helped the woman by prying open the rear passenger door which was the only way to get her out.

Using their strength, Dural and Menard were able to open the door and free the woman. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Dural said he and Menard noticed the overturned vehicle after their car lights quickly flashed across the SUV. They drove to a stop sign and wheeled around.

“It was a good thing we turned around. I’m glad we got a chance to help this lady out,” Dural said. “There were no cars on the street. I don’t know when the next time somebody was going to come by.”
St. Martin Sheriff deputy Michael McQuade was the first officer on the scene and said that Dural and Menard "went above and beyond" to rescue the woman who was not injured from the accident.

Travin is a great kid. You never hear him speak, he just lays it on the field. Better things are ahead for him. Have a feeling he has a nice little under the radar NFL career
