Bryan Fischer with NFL.com tabbed LSU's Tiger Stadium as the No. 2 college football stadiums for 2015, just behind the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
quote:

2. LSU's Tiger Stadium
A night game in Death Valley is an experience like no other thanks to a quality stadium and sea of purple and gold faithful screaming at the top of their lungs. The tailgate scene is unbelievable for just about everybody who hasn't been before, and a night game against a big opponent has been known to cause a legitimate earthquake or two.
The only two other stadiums from the SEC on the top 15 list were Texas A&M's Kyle Field at No. 6 and Georgia's Sanford Stadium at No. 9.

You can see Fischer's complete list here.

I understand Boise State's uniqueness with the Blue turf, but come on the stadium holds 37,000 fans and has ZERO history

No swamp, No Jordan hare, Doak Campbell, DKR in Austin, Neyland? but Wisconsin and Boise? Pretty good list and hits on most actually but I'd like to know his criteria. Would go Rose Bowl because of history but its not much of a stadium. Is this nice stadium or best atmosphere? As far as "nice" goes, half those need to go.

I was at the rose bowl last year For us cv iCal. While it is iconic it actually sucks. Not to mention the logistical nightmare mentioned previously. It's awful.

Most of the Rose Bowl's history is based on the Super Bowls it has hosted which has nothing to do with college. No way it is better than Tiger Stadium!

Rose Bowl has history and tradition, but the stadium itself is terrible. So outdated that it's a logistical nightmare getting peopl in and out.

Rose Bowl is one of few that have a legit argument... I see no problem here. Rich with history, tradition, and lots of memorable games/events.

Rose Bowl over Tiger Stadium.. Right. The article has no credibility now.
