Tickets for LSU's season opener vs. BYU at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans this Saturday will go on sale Wednesday morning.

Devasting flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey in Houston and surrounding areas forced the 2017 AdvoCare Texas Kickoff between the Tigers and the Cougars to be relocated to New Orleans.

Here are the ticket details, according to LSU:

LSU ANNOUNCES TICKETS DETAILS FOR BYU GAME


BATON ROUGE – LSU fans planning to attend Saturday’s AdvoCare Kickoff Classic against BYU in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will be able to purchase tickets for the game starting Wednesday morning.

All tickets in the LSU allotment will be pre-sold through Ticketmaster. LSU will email a presale offer code to the following groups on Tuesday night:

·Fans that purchased tickets from LSU Ticket Office to game originally scheduled for NRG Stadium
·LSU Football Season Ticket Holders
·Full-time LSU Students who meet all student ticket eligibility

These groups will then receive another email on Wednesday morning with specific instructions on how to activate the presale opportunity on Ticketmaster.com.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30. All tickets to the game will be sold through Ticketmaster.com with prices ranging from $40 to $215.

Parking passes will be available only on Saturday at a price of $40 a space. There will not be any pre-sold parking passes to the game.

Fans are reminded that tickets for the game originally scheduled for NRG Stadium in Houston will not be valid for the game in New Orleans.

Every ticket, parking and RV pass that was pass that was purchased for the game originally scheduled to take place at NRG Stadium in Houston will be refunded and processed by the outlet it was purchased through, including the schools, Lone Star Sports & Entertainment and Ticketmaster.

Kickoff for the LSU-BYU game is slated for 8:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game will be televised by ESPN.

As a member of the general public, I look forward to my expensive seat in the nosebleeds. Honestly, for a late game there's a small chance that I'm going to be sober anyway.
