Steve Franz - LSU Athletics
LSU edge rusher Arden Key, linebacker Donnie Alexander, and cornerback Greedy Wiliams were all absent from practice on Monday.

Head coach Ed Orgeron said earlier in the day that Key would be questionable this week as he reportedly suffered a minor knee injury vs. Arkansas. Freshman linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson replaced him during Monday's practice.

Still missing from action was K.J. Malone who has not practiced since he suffered a knee injury against Florida on Oct. 7.

Quarterback Danny Etling who is believed to be dealing with some sort of minor injury was able to practice on Monday.

Is it me or does this team seem more injury-prone than the past several seasons?

They're not severe injuries man. It's football, youre going to have injuries. Look at bama, they are missing their 4 starting linebackers, and in a 3-4 defense, that's catastrophic. You could tell the way miss st ran the ball at them on saturday too. So, to anewer your question, no, lsu isn't more injury-prone this year, we just have to deal with it and get other guys ready in case some of our starters can't play. This is the reason why depth is so important, especially for us ij the sec.

Not gonna feel too bad for them. Their back ups are all five stars and pretty much better than everyone else’s starters.

I seem to remember Arden getting hit early in the game and walking funny but staying in. Probably feeling it the next day.

Arden slipped on a missed tackle late in the game. He landed awkwardly
