Tennessee Opens As Small Favorite Over LSU

No. 25 LSU (4-1, 2-0 SEC) returns to Tiger Stadium on Saturday morning to host No. 8 Tennessee (4-0, 1-0 SEC). Kickoff is set for 11:00 AM on ESPN.
The Vols have opened as a 3.0-point favorite over the Tigers, according to ESPN/Caesars. The over/under is set at 62.
LSU's all-time record vs Tennneessee is 10-20-3 with the Tigers winning the last five matchups. The last time LSU lost to the Vols was a 27-30 overtime loss at Tiger Stadium in 2005.
As for 11 am games in Death Valley, Saturday will be the 15th-morning kickoff for LSU in Tiger Stadium history. LSU has won all 8-morning kickoffs in Tiger Stadium this century, which includes six vs. SEC teams.
