LSU will be facing a fifth-string walk-on quarterback when they travel up to Syracuse to face the Orangmen on Saturday.

After multiple injuries at the position, Syracuse coach Scott Shafer will turn to Zack Mahoney to guide the team against LSU. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Quarterback Zack Mahoney, a walk-on, is “the guy” for Syracuse this week, offensive coordinator Tim Lester told Syracuse.com on Tuesday.

Lester said Mahoney took most of the first-team reps Tuesday, according to the website.
Mahoney is a sophomore transfer from College of DuPage which is in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn.

This is equivalent to the right fielder pitching the 18th inning because he used to pitch for his travel ball team in 7th grade.

Every LSU player should kneel at the Syracuse 1 yard line if they have the ball so we can get LF 3 touchdowns as fast a possible. IF LF plays one play after getting 3 touchdowns I will throw the remote at the TV.

I think LSU will play lights out offense and defense until the game is well in hand and then Miles, in typical fashion, will take his foot off the pedal and play everyone he can. At least that is what I would like to see happen.
