After rushing for 244 yards and 2 touchdown on Saturyday, LSU running back Leonard Fournette got a chance to meet Syracuse legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Floyd Little on the field.

Little shared some kind word with Fournette and said that he plans on seeing him in New York for the Heisman. Per Syracuse.com:
quote:

"He certainly showed everybody in Syracuse what kind of player he is. I talked to the chaplain of the team. He said he has good character. He's the kind of kid that you want. He's not only a great athlete, he's a great person, and when you talk to kids like that who have a focus and have an understanding of what his role is as a leader, as an athlete, as a team player, he embodies all of those things that it takes to be a great player and a great person.

"I think he's just as good a person as he is a player, and when you have those two things together, you just can't miss. I told him I'll see him in New York for the Heisman."

LF makes me so proud to be an LSU fan. Like Shaq, he is an amazing talent .but always carries himself with class, and represents LSU with with utmost respect.

A lot of games left to play, but it's difficult to imagine the circumstances whereby he will not at the very LEAST be in NY.
