Stanford head coach David Shaw met with the media on Monday and was asked about the head coaching vacancy at LSU.

Shaw clearly didn't want to talk about it. Per NBCSports.com:
quote:

Asked about the new opening in Baton Rouge, Shaw was rather definitive in his stance.

“Are you serious? The answer is no,” Shaw said, seemingly without hesitation according to ESPN reporter David Lombardi.

Not that we have a shot in hell at him, but if you would pass up on Shaw as your head coach, you are absolutely retarded.

His personality is not what LSU needs. He has a decent record vs. VERY WEAK DEFENSES out west. I really would doubt he is ready what the SEC would throw at him. I have very little respect for PAC 12 defenses and have no reason whatsoever to respect them. They are horrible. If you don't realize this fact then you need your head examined.

No need for name calling. That's the answer he supposed to give. Stanford has a shot at the NC. Even if he said he would consider the job could potentially derail their season. The guy isn't dumb. Alot of the nation's top coaches will give the same answer. After the season most will be inquiring about the position. Personally, I want Herman or Petrino. But let's see what coach O can do. We might already have the guy we need in house.
