SECCountry.com reported Tuesday that New Orleans high school coaches were planning to meet this week to discuss a "boycott" of LSU.

According to the report, the reason for the potential boycott had to do with Ed Orgeron's decision to reassign running back coach Jabbar Juluke, who has coached for many New Orleans area high schools in the past.

Pathetic. If they boycott LSU, every SEC team should boycott these high schools

If they boycott LSU, Saban will be on the Bama private plane to NOLA to take those coaches out to dinner and work on getting a recruiting advantage in NOLA

I'm sure their famous alumni would not be pleased with any sort of LSU "boycott". The last thing they want to do is piss off Tyrann and Leonard.

Coaches can boycott all they want. If I'm a player and I want to go to LSU I'll go boycott or no boycott.

who do these coaches/schools think they are? they are this upset about a coach being disrespected in their eyes? I could maybe understand if they were this upset if a kid was somehow wronged by LSU....but a damn coach! So now they want to ruin the possible football careers of their students because a coach got fired. So much for putting the student athlete first.

There is no boycott. This is fake news

Exactly. Coach Joseph said he already spoke to the coaches and this is bogus reporting by the media. Imagine that. The coaches evidently have a monthly meeting to eat, drink, and chew the fat. The media will do anything to stir things up. No accountability. No credibility.

Bc Aug has more class than that. They actually teach their young men how to correctly handle situations. #catholicleague.

@LINK is a douche. He heard some rumor because a couple of coaches were pissed that their buddy was let go and they got all butt hurt without knowing the circumstances. He is throwing poo at the wall to see if it sticks. This is exactly what is wrong with "journalism" (if you can call it that) today.

They don't get to make decisions that affect the futures of their players bc of some butthurt. Anyone who even considers doing so should be "re-assigned".

A boycott? WTF. It was business! Of all people, you'd think HS coaches would understand this...but no, it MUST be personal and maybe RACIAL. The crazy-arse world is really bleeding into college football. smh

They not hurting LSU, because LSU will recruit all over the country. But they are hurting the state by not allowing their athletes the opportunity to stay home AND compete for a championship. Stupid!

This is sad and these schools should pay the price regardless bc obviously there is some merit to these reports. Pathetic of these schools and they WILL suffer the consequences. In my experience, when you purposely do wrong to innocent people for overreaction to emotion, you always feel that pain yourself. They will feel that pain for even suggesting this IMO and should. GT

These coaches are hurting their kids and themselves. Both my kids played college sports at the college they chose to play at and our HS coach had very little say in that matter.

Problem is, it's not about the kids, it's about them.

This is why these coaches are in the HS ranks. These guys do not have the stones to do what is necessary to be the HC of an SEC football team. I did not have a problem with either of the coaches let go, but its Coach O's team now, if he says we need a change that is his call. Secondly, as a coach, you should always be trying to set your athletes for the best opportunities that present themselves. How do you think proud mama and papa are going to react when Coach O comes knocking to recruit their baby and their jerk arse HS coach and his ego do not let them in... they'll be at IMG (or wherever) within the week...

St Aug coach Al Jones is Chad Jones and Rahim Alem's father. Seriously doubt he's boycotting LSU

Not that it is particularly relevant, but Juluke is a St Aug grad.
