ESPN writer David Ching predicts that LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette will be the 2015 SEC Offensive player of the Year.

Here are the full POY predictions from the ESPN SEC crew:

Edward Aschoff: Nick Chubb, Georgia
David Ching: Leonard Fournette, LSU
Sam Khan: Jeremy Johnson, Auburn
Greg Ostendorf: Nick Chubb, Georgia
Alex Scarborough: Jeremy Johnson, Auburn

David Ching: Leonard Fournette, LSU
Yeah, Chubb is probably the obvious pick, Ed. Just to switch things up, I’ll choose another of the conference’s super sophomores: LSU running back Leonard Fournette. Word around Baton Rouge is that he looks ready to build upon a strong freshman season in a huge way. He already set LSU’s freshman rushing record (1,034 yards) and capped the season with a monster game against Notre Dame. Look forward to his 264 yards of total offense against the Irish becoming more like the norm for Fournette as he tries to lead the Tigers back to SEC West contention.
