Schedule Update: LSU Adds Midweek Game vs. Ole Miss On Wednesday

LSU has announced that the basketball team will travel to Oxford on Wednesday to face Ole Miss for a makeup game due to a postponement earlier this season. This will be the Tigers second trip to Oxford this season.

Tip-off on Wednesday is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – The Southeastern Conference has announced that LSU men's basketball will play at Ole Miss at 8 p.m. CT on Wednesday, February 17, as a result of game postponements during the 2021 season due to the impact of COVID-19. The game will be available on ESPNU.

This scheduling of games allows for the continued opportunity for all 14 SEC teams to each play 18 conference games with a balance of home and away games during the 2021 season.

I'm glad we're playing a game, we need the wins and a victory over Ole Miss is far more quality than a few weeks ago. I'm sure they looked at both our schedules and we had more home games than them as the reason for us going back their again. From a weather standpoint, we'll be fine to travel by Wednesday since we wouldn't leave till around noon that day.

Awesome. But why can't they come here? They have nowhere to be until next Saturday just as us...... And we've already played over there. Glad to have the game so I really don't care but just seems like the logical choice was Baton Rouge
