One of Joe Burrows former teammates at Ohio State is current New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback J.T. Barrett who Burrow played behind the last two seasons in Columbus.

On Tuesday, Barrett was asked about Burrow and had a message for LSU fans: "Don't throw him under the bus after one game."

"Everyone is asking how is he? Is he going to be alright? I think Joe Burrow is going to do fine."

How about we hold him to the lofty standard that has been set for him. Don't baby the guy. He has to perform. If he sucks, what is the improvement over the guys we already had/have? You go ahead and cheer him on if he sucks. I can't and won't do that for him or any other QB at my beloved LSU!
