Multiple sources are reporting that LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss will need to have surgery after medial tests at the NFL Combine revealed a foot injury.

Moss announced earlier this week that he would not work out at the combine this week.

reading the description of how it occurs makes a good argument of that moment. Yet he played through more than a dozen practices, and 5 more games. If he was hurting he sure didn't show it.

Not terribly serious, from my quick research. Most patients get a cast for six weeks, but athletes usually have surgery.

When you missed the last season due to foot issues, I imagine he learned to play with pain, plus he wanted to be on the field with the best team of the last century and a half!

A jones fracture can be bad because it has poor blood supply in the corner of you 5th metatarsal, if not corrected can have permanent issues.... like you’d scaphoid bone in wrist
