LSU backup wide receiver Alex Adams has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Adams, a sophomore from Osyka, Miss., has caught 2 passes for 11 yards over the last two seasons. He joins wide receivers Trey Palmer, Koy Moore, and Deion Smith to enter the portal.

Probably the best decision Adams could make to increase his opportunities in the long run. With Boutte returning and Bech, Nabers, Jenkins, Thomas, and Hilton, he'd have a tough time stealing snaps next season.

He’s an inch shorter and same weight as Boutte. He’s an inch shorter and 15 lbs heavier than last year’s Heisman WR. There is a place for smaller WRs in any offense.
