NOLA.com is reporting that LSU sophomore fullback John David Moore is expected to be out 3-4 weeks after suffering a ligament injury in his left knee.

Moore took hard hit to the thigh against South Carolina last week and did not return to the game.

Freshman Bry'Keithon Mouton will likely replace Moore and coach Les Miles said that freshman David Ducre is getting more snaps in practice.

He has had a tremendous season to date. He is a vicious blocker and has helped LF a lot leading him into the second tier of the defense. He also has a great knowledge of the offense. Rest and get back soon.

If it was going to happen, it happened at the right time. I saw Tennessee rip through Florida with no fullback, and we have much much much better runners and a WAAAAY better OL. He can rest up for this game, WKU, and the bye and likely come back for Bama or the home game vs Arky.
