First-year LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda is set to become the highest-paid assistant coach in College Football after agreeing to a new deal on Monday. Per FootballScoop.com:

LSU: Dave Aranda’s new deal, agreed to yesterday as Ross Dellenger reported, makes him the highest paid assistant coach in college football a source tells FootballScoop. There was no ongoing negotiations, just waiting for lawyer’s review.
Aranda's current salary is $1.2 million and his new deal will include a raise, an extension and new title of associate head coach.

how is coach O the best choice. coach O thumbed his nose basically when he had an awesome pro style qb committed to lsu but now all the sudden he wants dual threat qb, lsu is loaded with those guys on the roster and turned away a nice blue chip competitor
