LSU running back Leonard Fournette will return to action Saturday night when the Tigers host SEC West rival Ole Miss, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

It will be Fournette's first game action in nearly a month.
Fournette has been dealing with an ankle injury and has not played since Auburn game on September 24th.

Expect head coach Ed Orgeron to provide an update on Fournette's status during his Monday afternoon press conference.

please just pace the man. Sprad the ball around. There's plenty of depth, no reason to reinjure him.

I'm thinking Guice will still carry the lion's share this week, just as a precaution. But what the hell do I know

LF will at least be an excellent decoy this weekend.

Excited to see what Esminger will have drawn up. Like someone posted before me, having both in the backfield at the same time could be sick.

Hope they ease him in and don't revert back to the Miles blueprint of 25 carries. Maybe 10-12 for him and 16-18 for Guice.

If he is not 100% give him another two weeks to rest. Save him for Bama, when we will really need the depth. That game will be a slug fest as usual and we will need two backs at full strength.
