NFL Insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Los Angeles Rams have requested to interview new LSU passing game coordinator and wide receiver coach Cortez Hankton for its vacant offensive coordinator position.

Hankton, a native of New Orleans, just joined Brian Kelly's new staff in January after spending the last four years at Georgia.

Good. We don't want them coming after Coen.

LSU needs to deny any interviews. He hasn’t coach a single down yet.

They may want to interview him, but I have a hard time believing the rams would actually hire him as an OC.

Home the ties to home are strong enough to keep him here.

Uh I’d take LA over Baton Rouge. Not to mention it’s for an OC job for the team that just won the Super Bowl

NFL took Brady before he could even finish the foundation at LSU and now they want to take Hankton before he even gets his foot on the ground year one? This is exactly what I was talking about when they gave him 900k. Only a top tier coordinator job or HC job could pull him away from that. Hope LSU declines and he is okay with that.
