Multiple sources are reporting that new LSU running back coach Kevin Faulk has signed a two-year contract with the school, worth $350,000 a year.

This will be Faulk's first on-the-field coaching job.

The former LSU star running back replaces Tommie Robinson who left this week to join Texas A&M's coaching staff as their running back coach.

Robinson was paid $600,000 per year and held the title of recruiting coordinator and associate head coach while he was on Ed Orgeron staff.

Faulk made plenty of money playing for the Pats. $350K is fine.

A fair salary considering his inexperience, but in time I'm sure he'll be really good at this job.

He will probably never leave LSU. He has plenty of money already. I don’t know the man but I’m guessing he is glad to be home
