Jamal Adams and the New York Jets have had a rocky relationship over the last year and now it is being reported that the former LSU star wants to be traded if he doesn’t receive a contract extension before this upcoming season.

This is all according to Yahoo Senior NFL reporter Charles Robinson who also says that Adams would like to be traded to the Dallas Cowboys.

You just got in the league. Worked hard. JA has quickly gained a reputation as a rising superstar safety. Just be happy if you are fortunate enough to be traded from one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league, don't be naming destinations and demanding things young man. Be patient, bide your time, and get to your 1st real payday for the team that can best afford you and your services. SCREW THE COWBOYS.

Cowboys should make a move for him. Would be HUGE.

Must be nice for the Cowboys to be able to operate without a cap. Definitely an advantage.

Will take big bucks- who can afford him?

You can tell the "I only watch college football" guys. They lose their shite when players want to be paid what they deserve. Jamal deserves top money as arguably the best safety in the league. Dude is from Carrollton and wants to play for his trash home team. Can't hate on that.

It just doesnt make financial sense. Cowboys cant afford to pay dak, zeke and cooper and then add on a big money free agent.

The only reason to go to Dallas is $$$$... Why else would you want to deal with Jerry Jones?

He's rich. Being close to home whenever he wants to be shouldn't be an issue.

I love all LSU players, but Adams is a primadona cry baby who thinks he is better than he is.

Dude shut up... theres always a hater sitting behind the keyboard. In only 3 seasons Adams is a 2-time All-Pro and 2-time pro-bowler. He's arguably the best safety in the NFL.

If front offices use the line”the NFL is a business”’why can’t players take the same stance? He’s a prima-donna bc he doesn’t want to play for a franchise that has time and time again showed a lack of appreciation for him and an unwillingness to do what it takes to win that division. F the jets

They are all primadonas. They are getting opaid millions to play a freaking game and still bitching about it. Meanwhile, people are losing their businesses and paying 10 bucks a pound for ground beef over this dumb shutdown.

I think he just wants out of the Jets organization. He gave it a shot, he sees the writing on the wall, and he wants to be a part of an organization close to home... or with hope (It can't be both if he wants to go to dallas). I think he knows he is worth top S money already, and that is the only real leverage he has to use against the Jets, so that is the card he is going to play.

Adams is more trouble then he is worth. Great player on the field, but a pain in the arse off it.

Cowboys don’t have the cash especially with a massive Dak deal looming. Jamal needs a wake up call he is moving in the direction of OBJ. Demanding a deal after year 3 isn’t how it always works unfortunately in the NFL.

Shows how little you know. Doing a deal with Dak would lower the cap hit from the tag and allow the Cowboys to free up enough space to sign Adams.

However the frick you wanna spin it bro the bottom line is signing a WR QB RB and DB to some of the biggest deals in the NFL is a recipe for a disaster. In fact now thinkin more about it I hope they do it.

I'm not spinning anything. If Dak signs the tag then that amount is fully guaranteed and fully charged to the 2020 season. If a multi year deal is done that allows them to spread money around and open up cap space to sign Adams. If you would have said signing big deals to those positions can be a disaster in your first post then i would have agreed with you. BUT, you didn't.
