Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
NFL Insiders Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport are reporting that former LSU offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth is signing a 3-year deal extension with the Los Angeles Rams worth $30 million.

The deal is the highest paying contract signed by a non-quarterback over the age of 35 in NFL history, according to Rapoport.

Whitworth, a native of Monroe, LA, played at LSU from 2001 to 2005 and set a school record by playing and starting in 52 games during his career.

West Monroe legend and class act! I love it that you Aints fans hate him! He spoke the truth about your precious NFL team! LSU is Louisiana's team and yet choose that NFL team?
