LSU defensive back coach Corey Raymond is expected to remain on staff after interviewing with Georgia this weekend, according to Brody Miller with NOLA.com.

Raymond, a native of New Iberia, LA and LSU alumni, played cornerback for the Tigers from 1987–1991 and has coached the defensive backs since 2012. He is considered one of LSU top recruiters on the staff.

Any of you who believes that UGA offered a huge raise to Corey Raymond are naive. Raymond is highly paid as it is by LSU and he is already one of the highest paid DB coaches in the nation if not the highest. LSU has the highest paid coaching staff in the country and UGA may want him but so what? UGA is just window shopping. If they offered Corey Raymond a huge increase then they will have to give huge raises to every other member of their staff as well. Big talk from UGA and that's all.
