Former LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire reportedly suffered a high ankle sprain and a strained hip during Sunday's game between the Cheif and the Saints.

The injury happened during a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter. Edwards-Helaire will miss the remainder of the regular season but hopefully can return in the postseason. Per CBS:

The Kansas City Chiefs matched the franchise record for wins in a season on Sunday, but it came at a cost. Leading rusher Clyde Edwards-Helaire will be out the remainder of the regular season after suffering a hip and ankle injury in the fourth quarter of the Week 15 win over the New Orleans Saints, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said after Sunday's game that X-rays were negative.

That’s a relief. It looked like a serious injury to me.

Praise his strength and conditioning program. The body is not supposed to flex like that without something popping. Great news for Clyde.

It looked much worse than a sprain or strain on tv. He was doing a split and being contorted into a very compromised position. I’m happy for him.
