Football Scoop has reported that Southern University Director of Football Operations/Player Personnel Ricky Jackson is joining Brian Kelly's staff at LSU.

Specifically, sources share with FootballScoop that Jackson is going to become LSU's assistant director of football operations.
The cross-town move comes after Jackson's service at Southern in dual off-the-field roles handling the program's everyday operations as well as helping construct the roster.
A former starter at Grambling, helping his alma mater to an HBCU National Championship during his playing days, the Los Angeles native Jackson has previous college football staff experience on Doug Williams's Grambling staff as well as multiple seasons at Prairie View A&M.
