CBS Sports released a Post-Super Bowl Mock Draft this week and has three LSU Tigers going in the first round.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels is projected to go No. 2 overall to the Washington Commanders, wide receiver Malik Nabers is predicted to go No. 6 overall to the New York Giants, and wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is projected to go No. 26 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Round 1 - Pick 2 - Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels QB
LSU • SR • 6'4" / 210 LBS
Prospect Rank - 8th
Position Rank - 3rd

No player did more for their draft stock in the fall than Jayden Daniels, who went from possible Day 3 pick to first-round prospect. He reminds me of Lamar Jackson, and it's not crazy to think that, five years from now, we'll look back and say that Daniels was the best player in this class.

Round 1 - Pick 6 - New York Giants
Malik Nabers WR
LSU • JR • 6'0" / 200 LBS
Prospect Rank - 10th
Position Rank - 3rd

Offensive line could be a consideration here, but the Giants opt for Nabers, a big-play receiver who is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.

Round 1 - Pick 26 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Brian Thomas Jr. WR
LSU • JR • 6'4" / 205 LBS
Prospect Rank - 27th
Position Rank - 4th

Baker Mayfield had to go to Tampa to rediscover his game, and he's playing some of the best football of his career. If the Bucs bring him back, they can focus on other parts of the offense, specifically, wide receiver. Brian Thomas flew under the radar for LSU, which is what happens when you play alongside Malik Nabers and Jayden Daniels. But he a legit first-round talent who won consistently on vertical routes and dominated at the catch point.

For the Saints fans out there, New Orleans is projected to select Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with the 14th pick.

I know they have more pressing needs, but I’m pulling for the Bengals to take him at 18. I wouldn’t mind seeing him with Justin Herbert and the Chargers at 5, but I know he isn’t going that high.

It will be sad to see JD5 go to Washington if this if the this projection holds true. It is a dysfunctional organization and that bodes poorly for rookie QBs

I can’t remember the last time LSU had a heisman winning QB that everyone was afraid might go to a dysfunctional organization. Wait a minute…

Yes Washington is dysfunctional and what’s worse is they bowed to the woke crowd, and we’ve seen with few exceptions what happens when you go woke. Uh oh
