Rain, can't run the ball, shallow DL. I could go on. Tough game on the road.

LSU – 45
USC – 28

After learning that he would not attend a football game, yet again this year, Mike the Tiger went on a hunger strike from his gruel soaked hamburger meat. In an attempt to end the strike, an unpaid intern suggested they try some KFC. After polishing off 20 buckets of yard bird, Mike rolled over onto his back, splayed his legs as if to show the administration his gamecock, and took a well-deserved nap.

Meanwhile back at the game: Kaleb Jackson took the opening KO, faked up the middle and swerved left down the sideline. He went untouched by the probing cocks until the cock kicker, may he rest in peace, made that fatal mistake. Fightin Tigers 7 – 0.

While under center, the gamecock QB crowed his cadence and spied Harold Perkins playing safety...safety? A nanosecond before the ball was snapped, like a barracuda at work, Perkins had dematerialized and rematerialized in midair 2’ above the OL. Splat! Feathers everywhere. Sack #1. HP returned to his old form and finished the day with 3 sacks, 2 blocks and a pick-6. Harold is now solidly in the Heisman hunt too!

The Nuss Buss, after grinding and mashing gears for 2 games, finally got it into 4-wheel drive and started chewing up ground and chewing up chickens in South Carolina. At the car wash after the game, Will Campbell & Emory Jones had to spray and scrape all the blood, guts and feathers off the front end before heading out.

Nuss then cranked her up and quicker than a straight guy at an A&M yell leader slumber party, the Fightin Tigers got the hell outta cock country...with the win.

If the defense is as pathetic as the last two weeks, LSU has no chance to win this game on the road.

The defense wasn't pathetic against USC. 27 points against a Lincoln Riley offense?

The Swiss Cheese Crew should be the nickname for the LSU defense the last two seasons.

Defense needs to step up in hostile territory for Tigers to have a chance. Will not be easy
