Russell was awesome his last year at LSU. Glad to see him still hanging around the program.

Yeah I’m surprised and glad to see him hanging around. Is any former player allowed to hang out? Do they just call ahead and schedule a day to hang out? Does the player have to have a certain success or notoriety o hang out?

He looks slimmer than I remember. Saw a picture a couple years ago and he was massive.

He lost a ton of weight several years ago as part of a comeback attempt. He looked great but it was too little too late.

J-Rock was the best LSU QB I’ve ever seen. Glad he’s still working with the University.

I hope he doesn't give Brennan any QB tips.

Weak. JR was a damn good college QB.

why? Russell was one of the best QBs to play at LSU. The NFL is an entirely different matter - but at LSU, he was sensational.

Why didn't he bring The Scarecrow some freakin' food. Obviously, Jamarcus knows where to get food - in Baton Rouge at that.

Brennan has gained a lot of weight and is going to be the starter next year. Brennan is extremely talented and you can just deal with your hate for Brennan or go find another team with a QB you can get behind. Screw you.

Rob, I would recommend you go ahead and take 2 chill pills. I love all our QBs. I was making a little joke (apparently "very" little in your estimation). Myles is listed as 207 - I'm assuming they weigh him in pads. I don't want him to get hurt. I think at 6'4", he needs to be in the 215 to 220 pound range to play in the SEC. Carry on.

Hey Ace, I would recommend you not try to be a comedian because you aren't funny. In addition, people who say stupid shite often try to pawn off their stupidity as if it is a joke someone else doesn't get when they get called on it. I believe you fall into that category. Shove your chill pill right up your arse. Carry on.

Jamarcus was a great Tiger. All you haters can shut it. He wasn't great in the NFL but he gave it all in Tiger Stadium.

100% accurate statement.

I was going to come here and $hit on Jamarcus, and talk about his past and blah blah blah, but you know damn well that if O and company thought he would be a distraction, he wouldn't be anywhere near there, just wish I would have been able to cheer him on in the NFL.

Ill never forget when Saban put him in at halftime of the Oregon State game and he went down and scored.

I'll never forget that walk off game winning td pass in Tuscaloosa. Say what you want about him in the pros, but he was a gamer when he started at LSU.

Russell was at the NW game, hanging out with recruits in the green room pre and post game.

He's got more money and time than he knows what to do with. If he wants to hang out around the program and give free advice to the QBs, have at it.

I actually think he can bring a lot of value to the program. Who better to educate the young players about what it takes to succeed at the college vs pro level. He has admitted as much that he didn't work hard at all in the pros and tried to just get by on talent and arm strength. He quickly found out the repercussions of that. I think his story can be a great one for all young athletes. Just like in life - can't get by on talent alone. Gotta put in the work.
