Former LSU and current Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice joined the Tigers when they made their trip to the White House and snapped some pictures with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Guice tweeted out the pictures this past weekend, with a message about getting backlash for the photos:

I love LSU football. Hate politics but this isn't normal times. This administration is corrupt to the core and not worthy of any kind of benefit of doubt. Even right now lawyers are lying to the public on national tv about something 45 said with cameras on him. He asked for foreign assistance in a 2nd election! That is unethical and unacceptable. Guice is unfortunately a known face giving validity to this horrible situation and and helping to normalize crazy. It's not ok. 45 needs to go to jail

Nice to see the great guys of our football team respecting the president and the highest office in the land during a time in which it’s popular not to. We have guys of great character representing LSU!

Much respect to Guice. I wish more people had the viewpoint of Guice. Some things are bigger than politics.

There are no good guys in media or politics. They’re all in it together except Trump and that’s why “they” hate him. He’s not one of “them”.

he is a little rough in his speech, could be a little more explanatory, softer at times, BUT he is doing all the right things. Take it from someone has been deep into socialism and anti US sentiments.
