Earlier this week, former LSU star and current Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Petterson received an unexpected gift from Basketball legend Michael Jordan.

Peterson opened the package, and to his surprise is was Chicago Bulls jersey which Jordan signed and wrote "Stay Strong," along with a signed 50th anniversary Gatorade bottle. Per ESPN:
quote:

"[He] just sent me a gift," Peterson said.

Jordan, the six-time NBA champion and five-time MVP, also sent a letter to Peterson with advice on how to handle himself as a professional athlete and how to get the most out of his teammates -- something Jordan was well-known to do. He also included a signed 50th anniversary Gatorade bottle.
Peterson plans to hang the signed jersey in his game room.
