Absolutely ridiculous that LSU is putting on a halftime show that isn't solely bands. If I want to see a performance by outside groups other than the two schools involved, I'll go to an NFL game or better yet a concert.

Somehow One Republic performs at almost every venue in the United States, but can't abide to its contract with LSU. I put this squarely on LSU's Legal Dept. Congrats guys...you won.

Karma! Cancel the Arkansas game NFL Half-Time as well. We'll definitely be walking out of our seats at half-time of that game in protest and boycott. We'll stay at the game but go use the facilities or something. Not going to stay seated and support this nonsense. It's college football, not the fricking NFL. The ultra annoying and irritating PIM is bad enough, now this BS. Hey LSU, LSU School of Music, LSU Athletic Dept. How about hiring a really good "Director of Athletic Bands" that can produce creative and imaginative half-time shows that stand on their own. Do this and there will not be a need to bring in outside entertainment. It's a desperation move trying to get people to stay in their seats for half-time. Not Rocket Science. LSU used to have Nick Saban-Bill Arnsparger level Tiger Band Directors and now they've got Curley Hallman. That's 100% fact, not opinion..........
