Oklahoma's first regular season in the SEC will wrap up on Thanksgiving weekend with a trip to Baton Rouge to face LSU in Tiger Stadium.

The matchup will be Oklahoma's first game in Death Valley.

This week, Sooners head coach Brent Venables, linebacker Danny Stutsman, and defensive back Billy Bowman were asked about the game and the environment of Tiger Stadium.

I’m really excited about this game. Oklahoma is a good SEC cultural fit and their fans will definitely come for this game. Just wish they left behind their arrogant, dull rival.

The Thanksgiving weekend atmosphere always comes down to the meaning of the game. If we’re playing for a spot in the 12 team playoff it will be electric day or night.

OU pretty much owned the Big 12 throughout its history. But their achilles heel has always been late season away games… regular season or playoffs.

Of course they are going to say that. Can’t expect them to say we are scared to death to be playing in Death Valley.

I like the way Oklahoma is coming in. Most don't have the big head like Texas, and many can't wait for the LSU game. This and the Tennessee games outside of the regular Texas game, should be the two they are looking forward to the most.

They gonna find out just how much fine it is. I’m sure the fan base will give all the new comers a warm welcome to Death Valley! And so will the good ole Louisiana weather.

It better be a night game.

OU has historically gotten the shaft on night games, and wants a night game, too.
