I hate that as LSU fans we are sitting here acting like its a bad thing a former LSU player is on the cover of a major video game.

This is huge for LSU. And for Odell.

Good job and Geaux Tigers.

But on that note, the curse shall be broken.

Blueboy actin like he got the blueballs?
I'm assuming you didn't watch ESPN yesterday when they spoke of his 5 greatest catches of his career and 2 of them were from his collegiate career. The catch from the Iowa game and the the catch and run from the Kentucky game when he still wore #33. He talked about how great LSU was and how he enjoyed the whole experience. When they talked about opening up next year in Dallas, OBJ said it was just like college when they opened up their season twice there. LSU received publicity because if this, there's no doubt, but it's because of the great player that came from there.

frickin right man. OBJ is one and will always be one of LSU's greatest wr and athletes. You best believe LSU will post Images of the cover all over the football ops as another tool to persuade the best players to strap on the purple And gold.

Nothing negative here. Free positive publicity to promote the LSU brand nationally. Goes to a who,e new level if he speaks well of his time in Baton Rouge. Peterson on one side of the ball and Beckham on the other.

Congrats to OBJ.
I wish they would make a College Football game so we would have another of OBJ in the Purple and Gold

How is the LSU brand promoted by a Giants player? People generally don't know where most NFL players went to school, so while it's fantastic for Odell and we as fans are very happy, it's not as though it's a huge coup for the university. LSU fans "reacting negatively" are just playing along with the "Madden curse" joke. Sorry if some people don't understand human comedy, but that's all it is.
