Former LSU and current Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger could be looking for a NFL new team, according to NFL scout Chris Landry.
quote:

—QB Zach Mettenberger is on the roster bubble after the Titans signed Matt Cassel to be their No. 2 quarterback. The Titans probably missed the boat to trade Mettenberger after he started six games and averaged 7.9 YPA with an 8:7 TD:INT ratio as a 2013 rookie. Forced into duty last season, he struggled averaging 5.6 YPA with a 4:7 TD:INT ratio across four starts. With two years left on his rookie deal, Mettenberger is cheap and could possibly bring back a late-rounder if dealt.
The Titans selected Mettenberger in 6th round of the 2014 NFL Draft (178 overall).

He needs to attend the Matt Flynn School of Backup Ballers. Not a bad life.

Chase Daniels must have attended Flynn's school

Cassell is a much older and more expensive version of exactly what Zach Mett is. Stupid move, IMO.

Mett is the perfect example of a QB who needs to be under a veteran for a year or 2.

I hope Denver brings him in to camp.

I have been hoping the same thing... however, Mark Sanchez isn't really the type of veteran Mett should learn from. Pitt would be another ideal fit for Mett.

@TaderSalad -- I would like to have Zach in Pittsburgh.

Pitt is where he belongs. From one Berger to another Berger. They're basically the same size, both have cannons. Go look back at Big bens early years, the stats are pretty comparable and he eventually became a champion and the man he is today.

Hopefully he can go to one of the two teams that I had hoped would have drafted him, Cardinals or Chargers. Each have an established veteran starter that is built similar to him that he can learn from, and offense that suits him well.

Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry would make any quarterback look good in college. I guess Tennessee don't have receivers of that caliber. Wish him luck though.

Thank You. Mett would be perfect to learn behind Ben for my Steelers. I hope we offer. Mett is not a playmaker so I definitely didn't expect him to perform well early with a good team let alone a team devoid of playmakers, a run game, and a crappy OL.
