One game? That's weak. He should at least get one per offense. It's not like it was just a late hit. Twice he jumped in the air and stomped on someone. TPOS should be suspended the season IMO

Repeat offender with multiple offenses in the same game and he gets a one game suspension? I thought Roger Goodell was the Commissioner for the NFL, not the SEC.

One game isnt enough.

But dont think scouts wont take notice, if he is even good enough for the NFL that is.

OK soooooo... whenever a player is found guilty of intentionally injuring an opposing team'sw players multiple times along with a personal foul or two then said player might be suspended for one entire game of the universities choosing? Well then why don't we just send a couple of our bench warmers out there early in the first quarter to take out our opponent's key players every single game? Make the system work for us I say.

I think the SEC missed the seriousness of Day's antics. He could easily have caused serious if not life threatening injuries. It's sad the SEC chose to just blow it off as stepping on someone. Day needs to be banned.

if he's done that vs Bama it would be 4 games

Unbelievable! I haven't seen anything worse in football and all he gets is a slap on the wrist? A one game suspension? The SEC office is a piece of work. He is probably somewhere laughing with those MSU fans who were defending his cowardly acts. He even lied about his intent in that bogus letter.

I would hope every player who plays against MSU going forward has seen this POS aberrant behavior on video. And that he will be dealt with accordingly. In other words F him up!!!

It's upsetting that he only got 1 game considering the intent to injure, the fact that this wasnt the first time, and he also lied! its ok though, life has a way of catching up with you. When you live the life of a turd, you'll eventually get flushed.

What an embarrassment to MSU and to his family!

It was obviously intentional. The film shows it beyond doubt. So this coupled with he did it last season also and was suspended and then throw in the personal foul he got when he came in charging and knocked an LSU player on his arse way after the play was over and he only got one game? This pile of garbage should have been kicked out for the rest of the season.

I can give him the benefit of the doubt for the second one. It really looks like he was just trying to clear his man and the LSU guy literally rolled right under his landing feet.

The first one looks like he initially jumped with the intention of clearing his man, but him making sure he lands very hard on his feet when he realizes the LSU defender on the ground.

It is not as if the rest of the country needs more trash on the SEC. This type of behavior hurts the SEC brand and reflects poorly on all of us. This guy is an embarrassment and Coach Mullen should have him apologize and be kicked off the team. We know that won't happen.... The SEC office is a fraud and impotent in my opinion. Poor management only looking out for the $$$$$$$ and protection of little Nicky!
