Brian Kelly spoke on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday morning and was asked about LSU's safety group, which he revealed was slightly banged up.

Kelly said that Jardin Gilbert is dealing with a deep thigh contusion and can't play the first half due to targeting. Jordan Allen has a bit of a turf toe, but he was cleared to play and practice yesterday.

Kelly said that younger players Kylin Jackson and Dashawn Spears are getting more reps at safety this week.

Of course two players that will never get injured, Sage Ryan and Major Burns cause they don't do shite during the game other than blown coverages and stupid penalties!!

Let this be the start of the youth movement. It will help the 2025 team immensely also.

Toviano up! Has the size & athleticism, and IMO S or Star is the ideal position for him. Seems to fallen out of the conversation. Internal suspension?

Lets hope Toviano can play Star. I've seen enough of Burns. He's not the answer.
