LSU announced Thursday that the 2018 home opener vs. Southeastern on September 8 at Tiger Stadium will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 or ESPNU. Per LSUSports.net:

Kickoff between LSU and Southeastern is set for 6 p.m. CT from Tiger Stadium. This is the first meeting between the Tigers and Lions in 68 years.

LSU opens the 2018 season against Miami (Fla.) at the AdvoCare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday, September 2. The LSU-Miami game will be televised by ABC with a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff.

The league office also announced Wednesday that the Tigers' SEC opener at Auburn on September 15 will be televised by CBS at 2:30 p.m. CT.

He's already tried to charge the visiting team admittance fees. Hell, Mike the Tiger gonna have to pay to come the game at this rate.
