LSU wide receiver Terrace Marshall suffered a foot injury during Saturday's game vs. Vanderbilt that required surgery.

He announced via Twitter Sunday that the surgery went well and that he will be back soon.

The injury is believed to be a foot fracture that will keep him out a few weeks, according to Ross Dellenger with Sports illustrated.

He won't be out long. He is already putting his weight on the left foot. Oh wait...

If you require surgery isn’t this different than casting?

Hairline fractures vastly different from compound fractures, and there’s everything in between. Doesn’t sound like a Marcus Lattimore injury.

A foot fracture will take more than a "few weeks".

No it wont. Fractures believe it or not heal faster than ligaments issues.
