On Sunday, LSU announced that wide receiver coach Adam Henry is leaving the staff to accept the same position with the San Francisco 49ers.

LSU five-star wide receiver signee Tyron Johnson, who was recruited heavily by coach Henry had this to say about his departure, according to NOLA.com:
quote:

"My first reaction was it's a business," standout receiver Tyron Johnson said. "I have a lot of love and respect for Adam Henry, but I signed up to play for LSU, not just Coach Henry.

"After talking to Coach Cam (Cameron) and Coach Frank (Wilson), they've told me not to panic. They'll find the right guy and that this is the world of college football. Coaches change schools all the time and that I represent the university. We're all on the same page now."
Some names that have been floating around as possible candidates to replace Henry include:

Jabbar Juluke, Louisiana Tech assistant coach
Tim Bruster - Florida State recruiting coordinator & tight end coach
Phil McGeoghan, Miami Dolphins WR coach
Joker Phillips, Cleveland Browns WR coach
Tony Ball, Georgia WR coach
Matt Lubick, Oregon WR coach
Keith Williams, Nebraska WR coach
Mike Smith, Arkansas WR coach
David Johnson, Tulane WR coach

I like this young man's attitude. Quite the contrast to Ohio St. signee Mike Weber.

That's what I like to hear! These kids should be committing to a school not a coach!

love this kid already. very mature statement. i'm sure he's disappointed, but I feel like Les will make a great hire again for WR coach.
