Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
LSU wide receiver Jonathan Giles has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal, which allows other schools to contact him.

The senior from Missouri City, Texas originally transferred to LSU from Texas Tech and had to sit out the entire 2017 season.

Giles picked the No. 7 jersey in 2018 but switched to No. 12 after a slow start to the season. He finished the 2018 season with just 10 receptions for 59 yards.

Good kid. Too much hype before setting foot on the field! Expectations were set way too high and sadly he didn’t meet them. Good luck to him!

Good bye. Whoever gave him the schollie should have have to pay the school back the cash for those two years.

Hate that it didn’t work out the way we all expected. Like others said, way too much hype, which wasn’t really fair to him. Seems like a good kid. I wish him well.
