Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
Earlier this summer, NBC Sports reported that LSU's match-up with Alabama on Nov 8th was the 3rd most expensive college football ticket for 2014.
Since them, things have changed and NBC is now reporting that the game is currently the most expensive ticket this season.
Here is the updated top five, per Forbes, with average price and get-in prices listed:
1. Alabama-LSU: $568.63/$242
2. Notre Dame-Michigan: $502.05/$298
3. Ohio State-Michigan: $475.31/$160
4. Oklahoma-Texas: $418.86/$145
5. Alabama-Auburn: $415.94/$243

This year’s SEC West clash between Alabama and LSU has taken over the top spot in the ticket price rankings. As is the case with most of the average ticket prices, the average selling price has dipped since earlier this summer, perhaps because the heat of the moment of getting the hot ticket as soon as possible has sizzled. Still, the average selling price for Alabama-LSU in Tuscaloosa* this November is $568.63. The cheapest price to get into the game is reportedly $242. The average price in early June was a reported $639 and the get-in price at the time was $317.
