Just in from local news. Houston expected to have rain through next Saturday, between 15 to 30" on top of already record rainfall. Would be surprising if there's a game in Houston, to say the least.

Best wishes to everyone in Houston and the Texas coastal areas. With that said we need to play this game! Lean forward, I don't care if we have to go to BYU to play. Don't let this opportunity slip away. GT!

I'm with you, HC87. I don't care if they played at BYU. We traveled to Arizona State in Miles first or second season and won from behind. At least us football starved fans would get to see a game. Of course, BYU may have prior commitments at their stadium.

I see no way this game will be played. Harvey is now a Cat 4 and is moving very slowly. Possibly 3 feet of water in the Houston area. All emergency personnel will be trying to rescue victims and restore the infrastructure. I have friends and family in Houston and San Antonio, so please keep them in your prayers. I will pray for yours as well. Bottom line: no game sucks, but this is what we deal with down here in the South. Stay safe, Tiger Fans!

Move the game to San Antonio. I think Baton Rouge could be dealing with flooding of its own late next week

Once again, no backup plan being developed in any way. They just wait and see what happens. I have a feeling they are gonna pull another Florida this time.

With the proliferation of these types of games, it is becoming harder to find an opponent willing to do home and home. You might get your game in TS, but it might not even be a BYU

I don't mind it. Of course, I live in Houston so it makes it a short drive to watch the Tigers play.

This game ain't happening. Houston is going to flood hard. There's no way they're going to be hosting a neutral field college football game two days after 3 feet of rain. They're going to be in full-on recovery mode.

Yep no way it's happening. All hands will be on deck for the flooding.

Would have been nice if there was a note saying, "contingency plans are being developed in the event that the game will be unplayable as scheduled in Houston."

And what happens if the game cannot be played? People would lose their shite. They obviously want the game in Houston. We just have to wait to see how it unfolds.

The game is more about the money than anything else I would imagine. If they lose Houston, they lose the money, so they probably don't really give a shite if it gets cancelled. It's a lose-lose or maybe a win.
