A lot of young players got thrust into impact roles that game. That's a great way to get them fired up.

Anyone who has negative things to say about this isn’t a true LSU fan . You just want the team to lose so you could say I told you so .... You are just a bunch of selfish losers. LOL y’all can suck it !

It was a stupid worthless drill when Miles had the team doing it. Now, under o, it's the best thing since sliced bread. Gotta love the rant. Hahaha!

If you played football ever in your life at any level...you did the big cat drill. And you know the hype it can give your team.

Everyone would be calling coach O stupid if someone got hurt in the locker room, but since we won it was genius lol. Some people will never be happy.

I'm not a football expert and I know even less about what motivates 18-20 year old college athletes. I will also admit that CEO knows more about both of these things than I will likely ever know BUT it strikes me as a tad strange that a team at this level of college athletics would require a physical drill like this one at halftime of a Major New Years 6 Bowl game against the undefeated, Defending National Champions just to be properly motivated and play with enough aggression to win the game. But that's just me, like I said I'm no expert.

You're not even a novice as well so leave the football to the football players.

Wow. He had to go full meathead to beat a high school team. Yeah, way to go Lombardi. Make your guys more tired during halftime so you can triumphantly outscore them 16-11 in the 2h.

What's the record of the power 5 college football team you coach?

And if they had lost in the second half you would still come here griping and complaining. Maybe that's the only thing you can do. I think we may have found the correct application of the term "meathead".

I don't think there should be a dropoff in either team or coaching effort regardless of the opponent.

Double standards for you simple minded idiots. If we would have lost and this came out, you'd be slamming him calling him an idiot. Or, if Les had done this, you'd be bitching about someone getting injured or tiring the players. But noooo, the coonass hero did it, so it's ok. Lol
