LSU offensive lineman Wille Allen announced Sunday night that he will be transferring out of the program.

The former four-star recruit played high school football at John Curts in River Ridge, LA. He chose to commit to the Tigers 2016 Recruiting class over offers from schools like TCU, Ole Miss and Auburn.

This happens a lot with coaching turnovers. Sucks, but par for the course.

I take this to mean we've got O-line depth, and even some of the talent won't see the field.

Ok what the heck is really going on? We've had double digits players transfer since the start of the spring. Absolutely crazy

Does anyone really know why he is leaving? This is getting rediculous. Is it Grimes? With the Oline defections we have had it would be nice to have an explanation of what is going on.

I was going to type the question why are we leaking offensive linemen? There is something going on that needs to be addressed.

I think a lot of the transfers going on around the nation probably has to do with academics. Players who transfer can sit out a year, get their grades up, and still retain their eligibility. This is going on everywhere. Not just LSU. We just got 2 transfers from Texas Tech, remember. The only other reason I can think of is the competition is too stiff, which is a good thing. But I don't know too many 18 year old athletes who would back down from a little competition, do you? Therefore, I think it must be academics.

Always funny when we say they are 5 stars when we sign them but 4 stars when the transfer. We always seem to find the one service that ranked them higher on signing day but as soon as they leave, we go with the avg.
