Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports
A few LSU Football players met with the media on Tuesday before practice and were asked about their futures with the team and if they will enter the NFL Draft.

Will Clapp, a draft-eligible redshirt sophomore guard from New Orleans, LA, said he has no interest in the NFL Draft and will return to the team in 2017.

Junior defensive lineman Greg Gilmore said he is leaning towards returning in 2017. He also added that he has received his draft evaluation but did not reveal what it said.

The signing deadline for all underclassmen is Jan. 16.

LSU junior wide receiver said that he is undecided as to whether or not he will enter the NFL Draft.

Love Clapp's no nonsense straight forward answer. To bad the other players from high school recruits to returning veterans can't follow his lead.

Greg Gil no disrespect but this guy would be lucky to be picked up as a FA. The game tape don't lie. Sorry

Greg gilmore? How much did he play. Needs to become the pusher not the pushee. Come on back. Clapp will be a pro, hopefully in 2018! Come on back, Hold these Tigers!

Exactly what I was thinking. This guy got pushed back and handled more than any D lineman we had. Seems like a good guy, but needs a reality check if he thought he was going anywhere but seventh round / UDFA coming out this year.

Come on back guys! Anchor those lines and good things can happen. Not to mention, upping that draft stock!
