SAMPAH TO ENTER TRANSFER PORTAL

BATON ROUGE – LSU linebacker Antoine Sampah has entered the transfer portal and will no longer be part of the Tiger football team.

Sampah, who missed all of last season with an injury, appeared in four games for the Tigers as a true freshman in 2020.

“Antoine has worked hard to get healthy and he’s been medically cleared to continue his football career,” LSU head coach Brian Kelly said. “We wish him well in his return to football.”

I’ve never seen three high 4 star recruits at the same position in the same class all bust like that.

Hell that entire 2020 class just melted into pretty much nothing aside from Boutte, Roy and Ojulari

For some reason I thought he had already left the program.

Why leave? Injury is the reason given. I suspect the real reason was inaccurate/insufficient talent evaluation by previous staff. What was the saying? Biggest recruiting blunders aren't losing recruits you wish to sign, but signing recruits that don't help you.
