LSU landed a big-time commitment from Oregon State linebacker Omar Speights on Thursday afternoon.
Speights, who was a first-team PAC 12 selection this past season, chose the Tigers over Alabama.
The Philadelphia native has started in all 59 games for the Beavers over the last three seasons and has 308 career tackles.
