LSU Lands Commitment From Oregon State Linebacker Omar Speights

LSU landed a big-time commitment from Oregon State linebacker Omar Speights on Thursday afternoon.

Speights, who was a first-team PAC 12 selection this past season, chose the Tigers over Alabama.

The Philadelphia native has started in all 59 games for the Beavers over the last three seasons and has 308 career tackles.

Yeah what a difference a Coach and a couple of years make huh? Wasn’t that long ago where another big time transfer linebacker chose them and not us (see Tao Tao). I’m sure beating them this year and the chance to play with Perkins didn’t hurt either. Much MUCH needed get.
